In this 2 hour class, we will show you how rough rocks are slabbed, use a trim saw to cut out an oval shape from a slab, and
shape and polish an oval domed cabochon.  We will be using 6 wheel grinders, so please do not wear loose clothing or clothes with strings, and please tie back long hair.  The class includes what you need to make one cabochon.  If time permits and you want to make more, you may purchase rock slabs or pieces to make more-so please bring cash.  Please wear clothes you don't care about getting dirty.  You must sign a liability waiver to participate in this class, and minors must be accompanied by an adult who can sign their waiver.  This class is open to anyone aged 12 or above.  PLEASE NOTE:  THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD OFF-SITE AT 14625 CASHEW ST.
